The opportunity to pursue a distinguished career in the judicial services is offered by the very difficult RJS Exam. It tests applicants’ legal knowledge, analytical skills, and in-depth understanding of a wide range of statutes and laws. There are three phases to the exam: the preliminary, main, and interview rounds, sometimes known as viva-voce rounds.

The preliminary examination, which is objective in nature, is used to select students for the main exam. The Mains Examination is a descriptive test designed to assess candidates’ language proficiency and legal topic understanding. Upon passing the Mains, candidates receive an invitation to an interview whereby their eligibility for a career in the judiciary and their personality are evaluated.
