- Anyone who takes part in the RJS has to be a minimum of 21 years old to take part.
- No candidate may be older than 40 years in the General category.
- For woman candidates, SC, ST, or OBC applicants, there will be a five-year relaxation.
Educational Criteria for RJS Exam 2024:
- Candidates must be graduates of a recognized university with a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Degree.
- A three- or five-year integrated course is required for the law degree.
- You are also eligible to take the test if you are currently in your last year of graduation.
- But you need to have your final graduation transcript before the mains exam if you plan to take the RJS exam 2024 in your last year of graduation.
Other RJS Exam Criteria:
- Candidates have to be Indian citizens.
- Applicants must be both mentally and physically ready for the role for which they are applying.
- Applicants need to be morally righteous.
Number of Attempts in RJS Exam 2024
- The RJS exam can be taken as many times as necessary. Candidates who meet the RJS age eligibility requirements may submit more than one application for the exam every year.

Pattern for RJS Mains Exam 2024:
- One form of subjective examination is the RJS mains examination.
- Applicants may sit for the mains exam if they fulfil the conditions needed for the preliminary exam.
- This is the ultimate test of your legal knowledge and drafting abilities. There are four papers on the mains exam:
- The Law Paper-I consisting of 100 marks will be required to be completed within 3 Hours.
- The Law Paper-II consisting of 100 marks will be required to be completed within 3 Hours.
- The Paper-I (Hindi Essay) consisting of 50 marks will be required to be completed within 2 Hours.
- The Paper-II (English Essay) consisting of 50 marks will be required to be completed within 2 Hours.
Pattern for RJS Viva Voce Round 2024:
- The final part of the test is the interview with the Rajasthan Civil Judge in 2024.
- In order to advance to this phase, candidates must receive 40% overall and 35% in each of the legal papers.
- 35 weighted marks are awarded for the interview.
- A wide range of topics will be covered in the interview, such as the applicant’s educational qualifications, employment history, familiarity with current events, legal expertise, and general knowledge.
- Furthermore, candidates might receive bonus marks for knowing the Rajasthani dialect and being acquainted with Rajasthani culture.
