Gujarat Judiciary Exam 2024 Eligibility

The Gujarat Judiciary Exam Eligibility Criteria may be discussed in the following heads-

  1. Gujarat Judiciary Exam Age Limit
  2. For general category-35 years
  3. For Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribes, or Socially & Educationally Backward Classes as well as Disabled Persons (PH), Ex-Servicemen- 38 years
  4. Employees working in courts or other allied departments age relaxation-5 years

or the number of years of service put in by them, whichever is less, in the upper age limit.

However, the upper age limit for such candidates under any category cannot exceed 40 years as of the last date of submitting the online application.

  • Gujarat Judiciary Exam Educational Qualification
    • Degree in Law from a university recognized by law in India.
    • The candidate must be practicing as an advocate in courts of civil and/or criminal jurisdiction on the last date of submission of the online application.
    • Candidates should have passed the vernacular (Gujarati) language proficiency test. However, if they have cleared their secondary and higher secondary exam with the subject of Gujarati, they are exempted from taking the aforementioned exam.
    • Candidates who have passed their Degree in Law from the academic year 2009-2010 and onwards must have also passed the All India Bar Examination to be considered eligible for being termed as a practicing advocate.
