Judicial Service of Rajasthan is referred to as RJS. Rjs pre exam pattern:

- There are two sections in the Rajasthan Judiciary Pre Exam Pattern, i.e., Law and Hindi & English.
- For the Pre Exam, the Law Paper I and II syllabus will carry 70% of the total weight.
- A 30% weighting will be applied to assess the candidate’s proficiency in both Hindi and English.
- The minimal aggregate required to qualify for the exam is 40% for SC/ST students and 45% for those in other categories.
Rjs mains exam pattern:
- The second stage is the descriptive exam, the RJS Mains Exam.
- There are four papers in the RJS Mains Exam Pattern.
- Candidates in the RJS Judiciary process who passed the RJS Pre Exam can proceed to the following round.
- For candidates to move on to the following round, they must receive an aggregate score of 40%.
- Every paper will be conducted independently.
- The Law Paper I (Civil Law) carrying 100 marks has to be attempted within 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
- Law Paper-II (Criminal Law) carrying 100 marks has to be attempted within 3 Hours (180 Minutes)
- A Hindi Essay carrying 50 marks has to be attempted within 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
- English Essay carrying 50 marks has to be attempted within 2 Hours (120 Minutes)
RJS Interview/Viva Voce Round:
- Those who qualified for the RJS Mains examination will be invited to the exam’s Vice-Voce interview process.
- Applicants may participate in the interview phase if they qualify for the mains exam. The interview phase is worth 35 marks.
- Candidates will be questioned about a variety of topics during the Rajasthan Judiciary Interview, including their academic and personal backgrounds, current events, legal expertise, and general knowledge.
- The candidates will receive additional marks according to how well-versed they are in the dialect and the social customs of Rajasthan.
- The candidates who will meet the requirements best as per the criteria and according to their record during College or University level, and their entire personality and attitude.
