Delhi Judiciary exam 2024: Examination Pattern

For the Preliminary Exam:

  • It consists of 200 marks in total.
  • It has a time limit of 2 and a half hours to be completed.
  • In both papers, there will be a minus score of 0.25 marks for each incorrect response.
  • In order to be qualified for this exam, candidates must receive at least 60% in the preliminary exams and 55% in the reserved categories.

For the Mains Exam:

  • Subjects covered in the Mains Examination (Written) are as follows:
  • General Legal Knowledge & Language of 250 marks
  • Civil Law I of 200 marks
  • Civil Law II of 200 marks
  • Criminal Law of 200 marks
  • Papers I, II, III, and IV will all take three hours to complete.

For the Interview Round:

  • There will be 150 marks for Viva-Voce.
  • In order to be eligible for a Viva Voce, candidates from reserved categories, such as Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and eligible categories of Persons with Disabilities, must receive at least 35% of the possible points in each written paper and 45% of the possible points in the aggregate during the Mains Examination (Written).
  • Candidates from the general category candidates must receive at least 40% of the possible points in each written paper and 50% of the possible points in the aggregate.
